After suffering his first loss at Roland Garros in 31 matches, Rafael Nadal has pulled out the Queen’s Club tennis tourney–a precursor to Wimbledon–not to nurse a bruised ego but to nurse injured knees.

In fact, Nadal’s status for Wimbledon, which begins June 22, could be in doubt because of his ailment, although he says he will travel to London next Tuesday with the hopes of taking part.
The AP says Nadal will undergo physical therapy and extensive treatment.
